is it possible to use a redirect on a dx home server ? when yes, tell me please
i already got an redirect for the download files but i dont know how to put it in my server.

By redirect do you mean host your files to be downloaded from a different location?
If so yes, DX dedicated servers are virtually the same weather at home or at a professional datacentre.

The only problem is you need some filespace on a server and a URL for that filespace. I'm not sure if any free hosting sites would work. I've never tried this personally although it's interested me.

I believe the correct procedure involves going into nephtys (i think there's an ini) and setting the URL of the download folder in there. (for example www.myservermaps.com/dxfiles) and putting your servers files in there. They may have to be split up into maps/music/system/textures as a regular DX directory would.

I hope this helps a little. If I'm correct in thinking this is what you want, check the nephtys readme's.

That doesn't work anyway, if the client doesn't have Nephthys installed as well.
