Sorry I haven't been in this site in like 3 or 4 years lol I kno it's been a lil too long but I'm sick of all the close range maps you guys got.. Smuggler and area51 would be a start of some changes.. This is just one complain I'm sure he dunno wanna change anything so I'm sayin can you add (:

It's not the first request and don't count on it, but I suspect Chin will add Smuggler.

Bear in mind, before Chinny worked hard on the maps and server, 0-augs was pretty stale, just basically Iceworld and Smuggler.

I'm sick of all the close range maps you guys got..


It works to have at least one map like this, similar to iceworld. GODZ had a similar map in their rotation and THC host Iceworld. In terms of enjoyment I prefer far more the maps where the spawn is protected and I am able to look in both directions before exiting.

Bound and Pool seem to work without this arrangement and I enjoy them, but Snow is not very enjoyable sometimes, I can be blocked by players who grab weps, shot if I jump the wall and if I choose the only available exit, it's likely I'm sniped before leaving the ramp. Snow's a good map, but I feel the spawn arrangements need greater protection and that maybe Majin has a point, there's a slight imbalance of instant-action close range maps, while some of the larger maps are/were unfinished.

For me, Stalkyard and Mini-Dust are great, a happy balance between instant action and reasonable spawn protection.

Also Chinny is generous in hosting other mapper's work, maybe I'm wrong but those mappers have left betas on there and seem to have started other projects, rather than take the feedback and edit the maps. So this perhaps creates some insecurity for players perhaps.

It takes time to gather feedback on a map, often our perceptions are wrong, so we should be patient while Chin makes the adjustments and balances the map types on server. I'm really appreciative both to Chin and THC for hosting custom 0-aug maps and the good news is, it can only get better.
