Didn't really know where to put this, anyway:

I suggest installing youtube addon for phpbb2 at least until we get our brand new phpbb3 place.
It's useful, it makes watching youtube videos watchable directly from topics.

wouldn't it use more webspace to have videos posted all over the place rather than just the link?

No videos would take any webspace, only the addon itself which is a few mbytes.

Want entertaining YouTube? Just look for epic fail videos, that metabolic end product is funny. XD There's this one guy doing pole-vaulting in such a vid, it's one clip amongst many in the same vid, he never reaches the bar (Fail), then falls back the other way (Epic Fail).
