All of a sudden, despite d3d or w//e the *love* it's called i am getting 600 fps which makes my game lag teh metabolic end product. fix it or go *love* yourselves

in ur deusex.ini find FrameRateLimit and make it to 145 or whatever suits you best.
also, make sure D3D9 render is installed, and it IS d3d9.

i use d3d9 and it has been working for the last while, but now it fucks up, you have 48 hours to fix it or i DDOS fgs forums

Why not use OGL? I cant get D3D9 to work at all end D3D fucks up as well. Other than that the method for capping fps for dx is noted above. For it to work your video software should be set to prioritize dx gfx settings over global. In other words: I have nvidia and it lets me choose if I want my dx to decide on its own or if I go nazi on it.

i use 145 and it remains 125 LOL.
