Good to hear... Got all my weapons on stand by so ya mappers can add them in the maps... Also, I saw in earlier posts that players can just hide their things in hidden places they find..... Why not use a mutator to keep track of the players' things including health?

I gotta mutator in the works for that.

It is on topic, have a look at the "UNDEAD" NPC animation :D

http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ensaKgRsNmY

Some of them attacking with the right map/atmosphere etc could work out really well

I made a forum website for the project, http://www.undeadrevolution.freeforums.org.

Still underdevelopment, I need all members of the mod to register so this would be a good place to post your progress.

The public is also allowed to register at this time.

Ummmmm..

ya' know, you could ask Cozmo to do it on his own forums? no offense, a new forum is okay I guess but if he has that for CozmoRPG, why not?

An official site as well as other forum sites to promote the project is the best way to go imo. Cozmo has the last word and decides on it as it's his project when all said and done :-D

Keep that site around atrey65789 like I have done with mine till a decision has been made. 8-)

Oh yeah, when you take more time on a project, it turns out better. ;)

I ... kind of wish we'd talked about this first before setting one up, but whatever XD

If we do use any forums though, they should be entirely private for development purposes only, with publicity stuff being towards the last couple of months before release at most. Forums have a tendency to get projects over-hyped, as well as having n00bs tell everyone a project died because there were no posts for a month D:

With Cozmo_RPG I deliberately didn't have any promo until the last minute. This meant I could relax and develop it when I felt like it, whereas FLCity had an entire forum pressuring them to work. It appeared out of the blue and players went in without any expectations, meaning any features could only surprise them rather than disappoint.

CDX - A huge Deus Ex Multiplayer patch
Cozmo_RPG (v1 & v2)
MPConversations - A great tool for creating co-op or rpg content. It will never be used.

Good point Cozmo. I will make them private.

I would agree with this. The only reason I made Hengsha public for a while was to make it easier to get advice and contributions from non-team members, it turned out that everyone was happy to register and join a private forum anyway.
It was a relatively short dev time of about 1 year and then 1 year with Poor roughly, but even so that time lagged on the forums, sometimes there was nothing new to actually show, despite progress.

Also on Facetown, for example, testers are banned from any recording or screenshot. Also some features that are demonstrated to us, we are not allowed to talk about. Talking about them would have noobs trying to rush those ideas onto servers before FT is finished, or simply deflate the surprise that Cozmo is talking about. All I can say is FT missions and equipment will be worth the wait.

With Hengsha, everyone already knows there are two maps, apartments, 7 teams and they know exactly what is in the final version, or maybe not :P Maybe we will have some surprises too :D

I'm in the mood to kill zombies though.

I know! These are ideas that are, like you said, worth the wait... And I respect that FT things are not allowed to be talked about.

I talked about a web page with Cozmo a while back and he said cool hence why i made a site for the project, we never said when to make it public just the fact that one of us were doing and thinking about it was great, since it's way to early to talk anymore about that site i made is why it's sitting in the back ground ready to edit when the opportune moment arises. This is only being brought up atm because Atery made a 2nd site without asking anyone about it (No disrespect Atery it show's your interest and commitment to this project is there not to mention the awesome weapons your spewing out :D :D ) as for anything about FaceTown please talk about it on his project site.
The site I have will be done professionally done by a Microsoft certified web builder...if she has free time! either way it's all good. Get yo asses on DX asap it's been dead lately :-D :mofu:
