A more sophisticated version of Ice World, keeping to the same dimensions, layout and pickup (medkit) distribution.
With some additional attack/defense areas behind the spawns and enhanced brushwork, wind sounds, and skybox with moon.

ATDM version is the 2nd stage of this, target date was: 26th, (estimated: 27th-28th.)
Adding bots is easy enough, zoning and blocking areas to deter nade jumpers is harder.

ed: Test ran well for me personally; kept to stable 120-130 fps throughout 90% of the map.

Loving the map Anax and look forward to playing on this.

Only one thing to say and I bet you know what it is!

The brushwork is not on grid properly. Mostly on the weapon boards and a few details round the map but the rest looks spot on the money. I'm guessing you copy pasted the boards from another map hence why they went off grid by just a slight fraction (not even 1 unit) it wont kill or stop game play on any map but wont help FPS OR BSP or geom like I stated in my last post on another map. I hate to bring this shiz up bro I feel like a bell end for stating off grid brushwork to others who map when mine does the same thing all the time.

IRT Chees, Lol, damn. Try Imagocentre, upload and delete the "URL" tags so you just have the image itself with no click-through link, as they call it on Tumblr blogs. :)

that could be done if uploading avatars wasn't broken! Admins need to fix that!

imagocentre is really simple, i'll show you.

1:
Navigate to http://www.imagocentre.com

2:
Click choose file.

3:
Get the image you want.
Image

4:
Click upload.

5:
Now you'll see the link codes you can use ( they're just links with the "img" and "url" tags already attached )

For Dxmp we typically want to use the Full Size, Forum BB Code so copy that one.

Final step:
paste the code you just copied when writing a post.
Delete the "URL" tags because we don't need to jump to the website the image is hosted on when we click on it.

Nice tut anax. Now you just need to learn how to encode your videos as well compressed webms instead of as 110 mb downloads. Speaking of webms, this might be good for your map.

Spoiler:
The precipitation mod by Smoke39; modified for multiplayer. It only requires placing a special zone info. Snow only falls from the sky, not indoors. The effects are client-side and will not affect server performance. Players concerned about FPS can turn off the weather effects by setting bPrecipitationEffects to False in their ini file.

Nice one.

i thought WebMs were just an advanced alternative to GIFs :)

edit: where can i get that snow particle mod? Not sure how to implement it since i have zoned off sections of the map seperately.

No poor in major pain atm and not %100 myself and erratic most times, lack of sleep and type/say stupid things. sorry to offend anyone I need to ban myself un till I'm better.

I like what you have done in this map, but I would make the protective shields at the side of the wep racks a lot bigger.
Really like the sounds and skybox, well done. Love the snow drift in the middle.

REQUEST PLEASE: I would also have a breakable hole in the ice with water somewhere, maybe two, maybe where the brown texture is in the middle, at the bottom of the icewater (damage zone) is the lam.

Also where are the sounds of the icewater echodrips, tunneldrips etc... it would drip inside the ladder areas or near the wall perhaps?

(and fappy the anti-masturbation dolphin).
