I'm trying to understand. As a mapper, the last thing I want is my .unr converted to .dx, unless you mean this can convert UT maps into DX maps.

No, it doesn't convert anything. It just makes unrealed start by showing the .dx files instead of .unr files. But if you switch to all view(like you would before if you wanted to find your .dx files), it will show the .unr files too.

and no, it isn't only for ued2.

Most of the scans just dont know wtf it is, so they come up with random bogus. Probably the same way your mtlcolorpatch gave me a virus notification.
