Chees must've had a good look at his map and thought sod it I'm not happy with it so I'll start again, I did it with my first version of Office as it was too big looking in DXMP, sometimes it's good to get to that point and you'll be so glad you redid it.

Definitely, I probably get to at least 1-2mb, at least 2 or 3 times with most projects, before I scrap it and realize what design or what techniques of brushwork I actually need.

I thought sod it, it wasn't worth trying to fix all the alignments there are to many to correct. In 4 days I pretty much have beta 2 rebuilt and ready. just a few more rooms to finish then a bit of testing and tweaking next week.

A sneak peak at this almost complete Yard 8 Beta map. A complete rebuild %99 of it is re done. The layout is much the same with hopefully better game play, lighting, textures, sounds and most of all stability and a few extra changes thrown in some places for a more realistic feeling and story line. A few things still to touch up but should be ready any time soon for Beta_2 release. (my eyes are beyond tired and my mouse clicking finger has doubled in size this past 7 days) :-D

Haha you will just have to wait :) Will hopefully have this done by Sunday. Just a few bugs to fix and detail to add and a dreaded BSP issue ya have with any map, fixed a few already.... It's a case of finding the culprit :smt023 or searching for a light switch in the dark....And finding Nobody to help :-D
