EDIT:
Series 2 maps will include one Series 1 map:

DXMP_Abandoned_Base (Series1) - this remains exactly the same...
DXMP_EndOfTheLine - This is IAHQ map developed after Wunderland tests
DXMP_Memorial_Field - this is a development of Battlefield1944 map...


Then soon will be available Series 2 maps:

DXMP_Judgement
DXMP_EYEClan Dancehall
DXMP DXC_Arena
DXMP_Hotel_Raid
DXMP_Frankenstein
DXMP_Area51MaggieChow - This will be a less empty and fixed airfield.
There will be another version with a flying 747...we'll keep u posted...
DXMP_Area51_Monorail - A homage to half-life underground horror story
DXCP_Colosseum - A clan war arena for [DXC] Clan dxcouncil.co.nr
DXMP_AzhantiHighLightning - A spaceship to battle inside, low gravity...

Then I am looking at maps like EnemyAtTheGates, MCI, CanyonBase, 8Red, VoidCrib and want to produce something fresh and similar but in a city...and different :)
Also I want to do a graffiti map. And also any requests...plz :)
And also I am interested to work with a good coder on something cool...

This is the fix EDIT it's called Memorial_Field now...

The old IA HQ map, made a lot smaller, tunnelled, sniper places added.
The download will be ready this week.
Airfield? Who knows?
My apologies to those who could not connect to Memorial.

IT IS NOW CALLED DXMEMORIAL_FIELD
this is quite different from version 1 Battlefield1944 and with a new name

EDIT: This was tested on FGS server and the response was very good, but there was a hideous mistake in the tunnels and spwnrooms, it's been fixed and renamed DXMP_StarshipShadowRunnerV2...

Reaction: Someone else said that too, what's wrong with the texturing?
I know I rushed these maps... By the way, love Devon, it's a great place.

This is DXMP_ShadowRunner.
These shots were taken about half-way through map design, before anything was added inside the spaceship.

The file size is 1.99mb ... so testers can tell me what to add...or remove...

I'm also working on a second much larger derelict space hulk, which is like outdoor combat, because the spaceship will be so big
... A perfect map for low grav...

This is as good an example as any. The texture you have used on the back wall (the door texture) it is not scalled or allighned properly. Also on the computer/round thing the texture is to big and needs to be scaled down. It just gives a better finish to the map.

Memorial hall has been your best map so far.

I really appreciate you taking time to explain that.
I'm used to creative work under direction and in a team.
Doing it at home is much harder than being in a film or fashion crew....

The computer desk was changed to grey metal. but it is true I haven't learned how to resize a texture or scale one yet. I'm still on the first page on the unreal tutorial. Maybe it's time to learn a little more technique.

EDIT: I've just realized DXMS = Mapper's society.
I put screenshots of your maps on my site http://www.shadowrunner.forumsplace.com and I wroite an article about DXMS_Rooftops, which is my favourite so far, I only played about half the DXMS maps so far, but this one was my fave, cos the lighting is darker than the other maps. Cool maps! Nice to battle on. I really enjoy them...
especially Rooftops, I could chill there for hours...

EDIT: Here is a funline map I am working on for EYE Clan. (Scottish)

This map has been designed with four spwnrooms, to keep players balanced and guessing, I got this tip from NC.
There are only crowbars, prods, batons, blades and knives in the spwnrooms, but nearby are sawn-offs
and somewhere is a stealth pistol and some sabot heavy-duty ammo for the sawn-off.
Most of my editing time was making spwnrooms which allow fairness and contest with elite or noob at the same.
A fun map for everyone.

Please note this is the beta version. I am looking for a coder to code the computer and telephone and make lights, books and chairs invincible.
Any ideas on how this map can be more "fun" plz let me know...

I took the thugs out...they were causing too much trouble...shot two already and smuggler was firin at me dammit, saying "no-one can roll on Smuggler!"...

DXMP_JUDGEMENT Outdoor and Indoor MP map edit of SP Level.

So I was always annoyed with Toby Atanwe for knocking me out. I never saw the trip from the Metro to Everett's house. Also Everett forced me onto the helicopter, before I had time for a glass of wine on the left bank and a quick whizz round the Pompadou centre.

So in my DX Area51 Aftermath mod, Everett has realized his errors and gone over to the Luminous path. This is an MP version of a map I am working on. It's 2mb, I would have liked to add more outside and tunnels and some outdoor actors, but probably betaV2 will be smaller and more outdoors and less indoors...and it's not really Paris anymore...

Sorry for triple post, the map factory is busy...

Well ppl said Memorial was good so I tore apart the SP Paris Chateau and came up with a 1.2 mb MP map. The outside is not really finished and some rooms are still totally empty, I'm waiting for suggestions and feedback from ppl who play this version...

There's an electricity emitter secret sword cabinet and a secret door and maybe I will add some rats...besides that this map is very basic, like Memorial_Hall...

Dogs, pool balls, alot of boxes, bottles and most NPC's have all been removed...The cat, one barmaid and the dancing lesbians remain.

The download is in the previous DXMP_ShadowRunner post. V4 will be smaller and with keypads and follow any suggestions...suxh as more ammo crates...

DXMP_houseoffrankenstein has been retextured...

DXMP_NYC_Raid is now called DXMP_Hotel_Heist and the downloads for frankie and Hotel are in previous posts in this thread...

Frankie and DX12 are not finished. Hotel Map is pretty much finished I think unless anyone makes a suggestion...

THIS IS THE LAST SP-MP CONVERSION MAP. INFACT IT IS MP-MP.

This is very large map, almost RPG based on the film.
The president's 747 has crashed, his capsule ejected and you have to find the president and the ambrosia before time runs out...

I have discovered the "pan texture" button and what happens when you right click it and I can make keypads and movers, so a whole new world is emerging for the "0" Series maps... O for Original...

The pan texture makes the texture constatnly moving, good for skys and clouds. I most recently used this in DXMS_Confrontation.

At first i thought movers would be really hard, but once you learn how to do one, you can do them all. If you are using keypads, dont give them a code, just make the hackable.
