my sets, maximum performance, short on graphics:

General Settings:

Draw FPS: Yes
Show Timer: Yes
Show Netgraph: Yes
Show Speed: Yes
Field Of View: Fov is a special case. here it is:
1. low fov (90-100) helps in long range noscope combat, with g36 or lr300 for example.
2. high fov (110) helps in close combat, because you can see a lot of stuff, since high fov = you see more.
3. I play on maxfov (110), and since the only long-range I do is the SR-8 with a strong zoom, I don't really need a lower fov.

Tac Goggles Color: change it a lot, so your eyes won't hurt.
Breathing Sounds: No (lets you know when to stop strafing)
Auto Screenshots: Always
Auto Record Matchmode: Yes
Auto Download: Enabled (so you can get new maps)

Crosshair Settings:

before you learn how to control your spread, get the second little cross on size 20-30. After you are able to shoot 4-5 bullet bursts, get that small little dot on 5-10 size. It lets you make those crazy auto headshots from 50 meters.

Crosshair Color: White
Crosshair Freindly: Red (red, easy to spot)
Scope Color: White
Scope color friendly: Red (red, easy to spot)
Crosshair Size: 10 (clear view)
Show Scope Accuracy: Yes (no shooting while running etc.)
G36 Scopetype: Cross
PSG-1 Scopetype: Cross
SR8 Scopetype: Cross

Minimap Settings:

doesn't really matter, adjust it yourself

Show Individual Scores: Yes
Show Teamate Info On Aim: Yes
Location Of Info: Above Crosshair
Size Of Info: 0.1
Show Team Scores: Yes

Blood Settings

Enable Blood: No (fps)
Show Wounds: No (fps)
Show Bleeding: No (fps)

Bullet Impact Settings

Smoke Effect On Impact: No (fps)
More Effects On Impact: No (fps)

Awesome feedback !

You clearly know your stuff with this game, I'll edit my original stuff with the important settings. However I need to ask a few questions as to what some of the settings do/mean.

Draw FPS - Does this mean simply it shows your fps in the top right corner?
Show Timer - Not sure what this means
Show Netgraph - I've turned this off because I wasn't sure what it does?
Show Speed - Does this mean ping?
Auto Record Matchmode - Not sure what this means.

ye

Show Timer - Not sure what this means
shows time left of the current game

Show Netgraph - I've turned this off because I wasn't sure what it does?
it's a graph in the upper right corner, shows how your internet connection is behaving, it's something like deus ex "stat net" command in graphical form.

Show Speed - Does this mean ping?

is shows how fast you are moving, in units per second.

Auto Record Matchmode - Not sure what this means.
matchmode is used in clanwars (choosing a team captain, /ready commands etc.), sometimes some urt cups require all players to record their matches, you can disable that.
