Sounds like a cool idea. Just set a date, invite the 'Top-AltFire Players' (there has been plenty of polls ) to have little a scrimmage. Could be fun...! And leave the server open, so if a noob or two shows up we can train them a little. Say there are 8 ppl there... imagine being trained by 8 of the best players (in the gametype, to avoid flaming...) at the same time... I would come back for more. And the skilled players have the chance to play a experienced team for once...

For that I'd dust off that little Shock Rifle of mine.

PS. have Nobody telnet, so we can mess around with the server a bit

Partly cos I cant stand the thought of a certain contestant whining about it, a new server with less bugs, specifically for matches and wars, training etc might be the answer.

Also I think it could be extended to Tidus, Chris, anyone else who thinks their balls are as big as mine and yours. Energy balls I'm talking

Wow. I was playing on AltFire yesterday, X and V-Braham were on the other team, along with Rizla and some noob. The Brahams disappeared suddenly, and about 5 mins later, came back bearing auto-shotties and enforcers, and proceeded to own the entire other team. Oh, uh, that consisted of me, basically. Couldn't get near them. Funny, but very frustrating.

well after my 64-9 against pretty much everybody in the server (and no it wasnt noobs, some good player, some aliaser called 3, and chinny was amongst enemies) in abandoned, ...this wonderful non-existant award should be mine.

get that score in a real AltFire map on a 20 min game and we'll talk.

more than 60 with less than 10 deaths is definitely good enough for FGS but...Abandoned is not really an altfire map at all, its an ATDM map.

these are the conditions I got 68.2 ...no nades, no noob rifles, only shock rifle. Actually server wasnt full, was about 8-10 players. Dan also, fight more on classic altfire maps... not stock maps or small maps.
