The [FGS] Clan

Thanks for your comment, it's the BEST post to demonstrate, that the guys from your corner seem to be limited to the thoughts of "who is the best" and "who owns whom".
Thus, I'll try to make it clear.

We DO NOT play just to own someone.
We DO NOT say we're the best altfire players.
We DO like to play the game and that gametype because we LIKE it.
It's NOT all about score.

It's fun to play the gametype. To see a good score is a nice side effect but doesn't actually matter for us if it comes to global statistics.

It's still a game.
From what I know, you play games, because you like to play them and not just to be the "best".. whatever you declare as "best".

Sike, for example can't think out of the box at all.
If he gets confronted with our philosophy, he declares it as senseless because it simply doesn't fit into his personal concept.
However, that doesn't effect us in any way because we know we're happy with what we do.. whether you guys can understand that or not.

I kind of agree with you. Even though I'm not sure why you're saying that to us. We play just as much augs and zero augs as Sike and other ATDMers or more. Important difference is that instead of ATDM we play Altfire. Shouldn't be too hard to understand I guess?
Noone in [FGS] claims to be ownage neither at altfire nor any other gametype. You must have noticed that [FGS] is either the only/most altfire-focused clan around DXMP and probably that's why you think that all we play is altfire. That's not true

It is just lame to limit yourself
to one game type. What is the fun of playing and doing the same stuff OVER
and OVER again? Just so you beat some 12 year old and he thinks that you

As I said, Altfire is not the only gametype we play. You can find us on any server with players on them except for home-hosted fun servers I guess. In the other hand, unlike a huge percent of ATDMers, we treat newbies very well. We give them tips and help them set up their altfire buttons. When I join an ATDM server and meet a beginner, all I see is him getting slaughtered by a so called "pro" so he can get skill points. GG.

I use to be in FGS but I would never rejoin. This clan has gone in directions I do not like.

I don't know who you are and why you left [FGS] but I'm sure that with this attitude you really wouldn't fit in the clan.

I rather play the game then be in a clan that is part of the
great drama of DeusEx and its politics. Playing I consider is allot more fun.

Yet you're here and complaining about [FGS] and its people who are focused on nothing but altfire. I suggest you take a look at Sike or any other ATDM'er. You could say that all they play is ATDM. But that's not true out of two reasons.
1. : ATDM servers are always empty because it doesn't attract anyone to play nowadays. Newbs get slaughtered, vets either don't like the system or the players of it.
2. : Because of the 1st reason, when a hardcore ATDM'er wants to play DXMP and finds the ATDM server empty, he will join a server like DIOS, RTKM or FGS.


Instead of talking non-sense you should go back to the game as you said you would instead of getting into the "DX politics". Noone wants you to understand [FGS] and flame us for what we do or who we are. We don't flame you either.

just a small notice - I was reading about it a little and seems like it's almost same metabolic end product as warrock - you have to pay real cash to win anything, cause only basic weapons are free. You can buy guns for GP (somthing like expreience) but to get really powerful guns you have to use a credit card/prepaid card. If I were you, I would shove this game up my butt and play a REAL fps that requires actual SKILL, not money.

go play q3a and its mods/q4, CS 1.6 or true combat: elite, great games that rely on actual skill - note that both quake4 and CS are played on big tournament events all over the world and almost all big multigamings (like PGS/Pentagram, fnatic or SK Gaming) have their own divisions in those games.

You don't need any money to get good gear. In American CA you can buy Nexon Cash to get special outfit for your character which only changes his looks, but doesn't make your weapons/armor any better. That is most likely going to be implemented in European CA too, but I have no intention to buy anything like that. In game you get GP (Gear Points) which are used to buy all the weapons and armor. All the armor is available to everyone and I've been using the same gear ever since I started playing. I can beat most players in the game and atleast give a hard time to those better than me.

The game neither encourages camping or just rushing to the enemy, but both are effective tactics used properly. For me CA is much better than CS where you always get killed after one hit. Also every good player there is a camper. In CA I see varying playing styles every time I play. That's what makes it interesting.
