tweaking is not hax. Can be taken to the extreme though, REN win cos they want to win.

Many things come to personal preference if you're talking about certain things to exploit: Using the whole map deplorable? I think not, lest the mappers wouldn't have wasted any time putting metabolic end product on it they didn't plan on having anyone use.

As far as the crouch thing, again, it does fall under the realm of a non-hax way to win more efficiently in some cases. Yes, it is annoying but what can you do?

I persoanlly don't bind my medkit either, and I'll never run away from a battle to go heal with a bot. I only do that if the enemy has run away scared for a moment to do the same perhaps. That is my preference, and I lose more battles than I should because of it, but that's how I feel is the most honorable way to play DX.

On a side note, guys lets get creative with augs. I know most here don't like aug play, but every now and then I'll see some of y'all. It is always the same metabolic end product:

Speed Enhancement
Ballistic Protection
Vision Enhancement
Aggressive Defense System

Sure it works but it is awfully boring, at least when that is everyone on the team. Damn someone take advantage of the spy drone for a change, play around with a new weapon. I personally have found my favorite choice: Targeting + Combat Strength and throwing knives. It makes each one like a swing from the dragon! People accuse me of hax sometimes ofr it cause they kill so fast.

And that is the only way I've ever given Chaos a run for his money, I actually killed him about half the time he did me with that combo, a personal best

NOBODY in [REN] cheats, they are all just good players who over time learned from one another.

Man once u get the jist of your controls and the feel of the game, you will sometimes enter this zone of everything feeling "effortless".

This is where u just own everything in site, instant reaction headshots, flawless assaulting and hardly anybody can kill you, this is what we call scoring over 100, or maybe in the older 0 aug servers, 150 (longer gametime)

(ask any renegade, or even any decent 0 augger, they will know what i mean)

There are SO MANY players decent enough too, its wether you catch them on their day.

PS: Chin i said you were a lame smuggler player because you play the map like i used to, hanging back, cheap snipe shots, rarely getting involved in the scruffs etc, Spaz used to give me a right earful about it a couple years ago, its irritating because its smuggler, nobody wants to go searching for you, leave that to area51.

I too miss the good old days of raping in 0-Augs. Nothing was more fun than going into a server with Cereal and then just destroying everyone.

I do too. I'm still amazed how Storm was able to take a bunch of noobs and turn us into a clan that was respected by pretty much everyone in the community. Who knows, maybe when DX3 comes out it will be time for a true resurrection of Shen.

When I have went up against a REN member they shot you in the torso with a sniper rifle
sometimes they do this twice after you use a medkit. Then use an assault rile to finish
you off Kinda noobie to me lowing someones health like that just to kill them.

It's called strategy. I see no way that's cheap or a noob maneuver.

I use a superrocket to lower the opponent's health and then kill him with....

no.. actually, using the superrocket was already everything.
Anyone got a problem with that as well?
There's nothing better than dying with a big boom if you're forced to die anyway.
