Those small letters do explain quite something, thank you. I haven't read a lot about that though, even though I regularly pay this place a visit. But Kuchcik's role as moderator was perhaps symbolic to him as well. Who would like to be a king when he does not have a crown? I kind of understand his anger about this, but now that I know the true reasons of his demotion, I understand the actions of the admins too, although the decision itself was not very democratic.
I actually put up the new forum with permission from Icho only... whoops! Do I have to remove it again o.O...
Should I consider this offensive or what? What's exactly your point with this?
Look, now that I know more about the reasons of this demotion, I understand. But please, in the future - and this time really fulfill the promise - don't make such decisions like this.

Decisions could never be made in a country where every matter needs the agreement of all citizens. Someone would always disagree.
Somebody wants a crown? Use userranks.

At least the ones who make the decisions would know how everybody thought about it, no?

That's why those who are responsible for the decisions are elected by the citizens in a democratic country.
Once you enter a clan, you accept the power of the leadership. If you can't do that, you don't enter.

That's right, but in this case part of the leadership was left out of the decision.

Because the leadership actually caused the problem (not you, Majestic). Thats why it was left out of this decition.

oh noes discussion
first of all, I haven't in any way provoked Majestic to start this topic.
[FGS]Hawk wrote:Because the leadership actually caused the problem (not you, Majestic). Thats why it was left out of this decition.
We have democratics here. You don't like something - there's the private sections, polls are anonymous, a good way to make hard decisions. Now if I all of a sudden notice I'm not a moderator anymore, and the decision was taken by someone actually below us in ranks, well, something's wrong here.
secondly, yes, maybe I did bad stuff, editing posts, having my own opinions that you might not like (f[a]gs for example). but, if the trade for getting my mod rights back is giving up on that, then hell no.
You consider this,
you make a proper poll in the private section, and if you decide "no mod rights to him", I'll shut up. Stop with the conspiracies. Don't think you know better than someone even without talking to him. I don't want to ruin this clan, make it worse or make people leave the forums.
Somebody wants a crown? Use userranks.
oh oh there we go. where the hell did you get that crown thing? Back in '06 I got those rights from Majestic, and he was made admin by Icho. I did NOT ask for it.
My point is, mod rights are a matter of trust between us, to take care of the forums. Important stuff like new admins and mods should always be decided in a forum poll - "do we trust this guy?" "do we want him?". We make polls for new members, why not new moderators and administrators?
There. End of message.

Mod rights are not for abuse (editing other people's posts). They are for
MODERATING a forum. Not pissing off other people. Just because you're leader it doesn't mean you have any responsibilities for your rights. I've heared so many complaints about your editing metabolic end product...
Sorry that I'm slowly getting harsh but IT *loving* PISSES ME OFF.
Btw: A forum is being administrated by administrators, which have been chosen by other admins because of their skills. Admins choose skilled users as moderators. And if a moderator abuses his rights, they have to be taken away.
Board administration is and will NEVER be democratic... [SARCASM]Why don't we just make a poll "SPAZ for global moderator"... [/SARCASM]
Why now blocking the board admins do a proper decition? The decition to take away the mod rights of Kuchcik was done by 3 of 5 admins (more than 50%). WOW! That is actually democratic!

I agree with Hawk, no poll for admins or moderators is neccesary. Icho being administrator and clan leader is a sort of coincidence actually. This is a forum, we're not talking about membership, leadership or other clan related rights but technical matter.

With that attitude, why don't you make a poll on me leaving? Gosh, you come out of *loving* nowhere and tell me what to do?

If you don't want me to do my job properly ok. So I won't do it any more. Implement your lo-fi metabolic end product yourself.
I'm out of here for a while.
Thank you Mr. Kuchcik. Why don't YOU make a poll about kicking me out for making my job? WHY? Cmon do it. Kick me out.

SCHEISSE, guys, CALM DOWN.
Hawk, you better don't post on this topic anymore..
Also, Kuchcik.. the cause of all this is only you.
NO ONE hates you here but if you're abusing your rights, action must be taken.
Furthermore.. I do respect you as leader.. but then *loving* start behaving like that!
