Great topic, and great to see since I left we have more mappers now, It's going to be a problem though, I live at Black Mesa Research Facility.

Copy/paste can be difficult, so it's best to leave original brushes for movers in the map, outside the map area etc. Do obvious things also, like have corresponding grid sizes in the two maps, use grid properly etc, shouldn't be too much of an issue.
