Of course! You'd be surprised at the amount of things planned for DX that didn't make it, although I'm sure everone knows most of it. The conent in those screenshots just didn't end up in the final cut, due to bad mapping/planning/computers of the time. I think NY got a last minute redesign or something. That seems to be the worst cuprit. I have some of those shots on the back of my DX box.

so this is actually an other version of DX, a crappier one?

Yep i knew there were some stuff they diddnt took for the final release, but that they deleted so many stuff.
But the final DX has better graphics than this, exept the flamethrower flames

From what I've seen I like the old GUI way better. A simple and yet functional design. I don't need something like HAWK showed us.

And for Deus Ex on Steam:
Who _realy_ cares? If they can play DXMP just like we do, they won't stay long enough to get used to the crazyness of DXMP. It's great when all buyers play a legend of the game industry. Nevertheless we won't see too much from it.

Just updated as they rolled it out last night. *love* are you complaining about? Better than the original UI, especially since it's not that shitty puke green colour....

Grr now they loadet this Version on my steam too..
