Really all I was proposing was some way to make it easy for mappers/editors to find all the posts relating to current mappers and what maps etc.
I don't think Alpha is a bad idea...but

I guess that's not exactly what I had in mind, plus Alpha is not in DX these days so I dont know if that would be good PR for DXMP really...
I dont know how active and how good their memory is etc... but Alpha was amazing in giving support, I checked my posts there, all technical questions got answered etc...

It's more like Mastakilla was saying, some area where mappers/players can keep tabs on what is current and help each other. A place for positive PR and encouraging people and also networking people and also players can input into projects as well from seeing work in progress etc...

It doesnt really matter if we still use the dx section I suppose.

but yeah showcasing your work and getting feedback often helps you to keep going on a project.
Unless you get flamed to the ground for your work, so therefore such a forum would have to have certain rules about constructive critisism.
Needless to say, Spaz wouldn't be allowed by default LOL

I just want somewhere I can spam with loads of unfinished map shots while I work on em.
People might be able to make suggestions or pick out faults and stuff... or just look and be interested. whatever.
