Seems TV critics give this a thumbs up and they're making a documentary about it. I haven't heard of this at all.
I do not see the purpose of this unless you are really really high on LSD or mushrooms though, or a kid, but I can see the point of allegorical storytelling.

One girl and several animal characters. The rabbit and dog are stoned, the bouncing tomato on a spring is on cocaine, the cow is on LSD, they're all on drugs and it is a kids TV program. It's very allegorical and the characters are quite dysfunctional sometimes.
