Icho, it's mentalities like yours and his clashing like that which cause the whole Aug-non Aug divide.

Augs are fun to play, all it takes to get good is 1-2 weeks practicing with your binds.
I find ATDM unbalanced for the skill stuff but I've already talked about it, not gonna say more now. What makes it worse is the in-game behaviour of "atdm pro's". This is probably why ATDM is never going to rise so fast as 0aug, Altfire, BTDM or DXSG. Because these gametypes are much more balanced and the players aren't always DX vets but they're a mixture of vets and newbs thus making the game itself even more balanced.
What I respect in ATDM vets is that they're willing to help out anyone who's interested. Most of them. But attitudes like "ATDM owns, rest sucks metabolic end product" are horrible and ridiculus.
Altfire isn't "homosexual". Altfire is the result of talented coders and modellers who made an incredibly good job by bringing a completely new game to DXMP. This little revolution is still attracting newbs and vets and considering the low number of players playing the game, it should be respected even more.
ATDM vets scare away not only newbs but vets aswell. Those vets who haven't liked ATDM for no matter what reasons before, won't ever like it anyway. (There are some exceptions like Hey or Scarface).
My point is that doesn't matter wether ATDM is good or bad, it's reducing the chances of DX and is dying faster than any other gametypes as it's not getting "reinforcements". Unlike BTDM, just take a look at EDH and DIOS servers.

I believe Icho's point is it doesn't matter if you prefer augs over no augs. honestly I like both I like to play on 0aug servers and if the only auged servers weren't ATDM or BTDM I would play augs more often.

my favorite server was when altfire had 2 augs a long time ago. I can honestly say that I do not know what to do with full augs because i only use 4

but the whole aug vs 0aug is homosexual and needs to stop.
