i find zero augs to be imbalanced too. Those weapons weren't designed to face unprotected (by augs) bodies at max skill level (eg. assault spray). Maybe 0augs at skill level advanced would be more interesting?

I was talking of having the same chances the whole game.
However, you're right. 0augs isn't the Sangreal of DXMP either.
Perhaps we should give your middle skill level idea a try on a test server.. :)

0auggers hate ATDM, because the games do not run balanced.
One up-skilled and augged player has a big advantage towards the others.

Auggers hate 0augs because they're convinced that ATDM is the "TRUE" gametype of DX
and that all non ATDM players are noobs because they have to take care of much less when playing.

ATDM might have been the initial gametype when DXMP started,
however, what those players always forget is that ATDM was born out of the conversion
of the single player game style where balance problems towards other players didn't exist.
Thus, ATDM is very imbalanced, since players can join a server whenever they want and those who join in the middle of the game
need to face the up-skilled and augged players and just get slaughtered.
couldnt have said it better, i hope some ATDM players read it.

I don't view the game as a equation. I view it as varying forms of technic and
strategy. Each game type is different and such needs different technic and
strategy. You can not mix the two on different game types rarely at all. This
surprisingly increases your skill if you try playing them all. Like Zero Augers
are undisputed good at melee sniping and long distance shots. I can't do
either with any extreme skill. If you are well even close to me I can kill you
within a few secs. Augs generally are close range killing at fast speeds.

My favorite layout for them are:
Combat strength, Targeting, Speed, Regen

I use a Dragon Tooth sword in augs as like DZ. Targeting increases the
skill level by one making a total of level 4 skill. Combat Strength amplifys
the damage that the sword inflicts by a significant amount. It takes a
total of 1-2 hits to kill someone even with regen + BP.

Its knowing the game and everything that is at your disposal. From everything
that I have learned while being in AK for that short time with DZ I have learned
things like that and many many other evil tricks.

I use Dragon Tooth swords in Zero Aug as well. :P The other team running around
the corner in a group and chopping them up is kinda fun :P

What the hell are you on about? There is a FEATURE in the game's settings that allows you to remap the augs to whatever key you want. Besides, even if everybody used the F keys when they augged, you still wouldn't because you don't have the patience (and probably not the skill either if you're bitching about it).

Edit: Quoted the wrong fool. Can't be assed to discern which it was directed. Making me a lazy fool, but at least one that can grasp a videogame without dumbing it down.
