Grenades on Wunderland

Lams in low Gravity. Takes a bit of getting used to. Does turn Area51 into Iceworld at times.

As usual this is research, not a binding decision. It seems vets are more active in polls than new players, so that is why we use these polls as a reference rather than God's word...

I think that everything should stay the way it is. Well, LAMs/vacc might lead to spawnkilling, but enemy can do the same.

Firing a LAM through the low-grav air and hitting a jumping player requires skill, though, for my opinion. :?

couldn't agree more. Lot's of vets fail to see this and call you a GRENADE NOOB when you can kill them with a nade when they're jumping.
reduced lam could be cool, but then it would be the same as Vac, i assume, so what's the point?

NADES FTW!

agreed, it's like ringlamming, it's about timing...therefore requires the ability to count, which I would class as a skill...

Some default ATDM players seem to not accept alternative skills (I don't talk of my superrocket skill) as proper skill, just because they can't do it or aren't aware of it. :?

No, low gravity eliminates skill in lam, it extends the projection when thrown and trust me, I've played on Wunderland enough to know when I want an easy kill I just go for the lams.

The vac nades, on the other hand, require a lot more finesse to do well with them.

Low gravity and 0 augs combined make Lams and turrets practically unavoidable unless you have an emp or shock rifle.

Hmm, that's a point..

..I thought vacuum grenades are more dangerous than LAMs, or is it just that they are green. :D

EDIT: Omg my 222nd post! :-D

Vac nades are my favorite nade ;). And turrets can be avoided without shock rifle or emp. Seems like you haven't played on Wunderland THAT much :P

well leave both. Lams are a part of the game ok vacuum grenade not realy but its like lams but without a big boom...and they green..hehe
in wunderland its hard too kill someone who is flying around. need bit accuracy. well i dont throw them i only put them on walls too kill someone that way.

I'd like to see a reduced lam on RTK server...
