I played WoW for 1,5 years 2 years ago. It's an awesome game but cracked servers still suck and normal Blizzard servers aren't worth paying that monthly fee of theirs. So I left.

Is WOW similar to the Elder Scrolls games? Because I'm playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and it's an amazing game.

I haven't played that but as far as I can see it's an FPS game and WoW is 3rd person 
There might be major similarities and differences though, I didn't play that game.
I could compare WoW to Silkroad or Lineage more if you know those.

World of Warcraft is an awesome game, no wonder millions of people play it (and not just kids).
It's complicated and might look fairytale-like, even I didn't like it the first time I played it. However I'm not trying to convince anybody to try it because as I said cracked servers are still horrible and original servers doesn't worth paying that amount of money. (And you have to buy the game DVD's aswell)
