~Quake I~
The Linux-HOWTO is here: http://www.linuxdocs.org/HOWTOs/Quake-HOWTO-3.html
Most of those will work on other Nixes like BSD.
I personal like QuakeForge http://sourceforge.net/projects/quake and recommend it. It
fixes allot of bugs and a native win32 version is available. It works allot better and
allot of BSP bugs and such fixed.
~Quake II~
Linux-HOWTO is here: http://www.linuxdocs.org/HOWTOs/Quake-HOWTO-3.html
This should work on all other Nixes as well
~Quake III~
The download for ioquake is here: http://ioquake3.org/
This one Kicks serious butt
~Quake IV~
Quake IV instructions: http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/linux/qu ... 4FrontPage
Never used it before... Probable rules though
~Open Arena~
A complete re-write of the Quake I Engine, its lean mean and damm sexy. Its 100% free and does not
need a Quake CD. It only uses the Quake I Engine with lots of improvments and bug Fixes.
