The [FGS] Clan

Tis topic is simple, you just explain how you got your nick from.


Well, I got 'DJ' nick, because my name is Danjun, simple.

i was just thinking of a name that would fit in FGS

so it first was FlyingGhostSPirit

but that one was to long so i deleted the spirit

now just FlyingGhost

well, my name at first came from my cousin, he had a dungeons and dragons book (or something like that) and it came from the draconic word for demon. That is where all of my early names came from, Kothar = demon, Gix = claw, Severak = darkness. then when i decided to change my name (after I wanted to leave that part of my life in the past and move on.) I looked up Kothar on wikipedia and... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kothar-wa-Khasis

so now i keep that name but i rarely use the others.

Got mine from a character in a book by David Gemmell. Brit fantasy writer. Also dead now I believe.

Im usually known as random or Undead, so even though Ive used countless aliases I suppose these two both should be explained.


I used rand12om because I felt I wanted to be a random player in this community, someone who is observing, learning, both how to play and how the clans work in the game. I got the idea for the name after watching the random ID in the url for yahoo mail in june 2004. First reason to pick this was not to ruin good names with shitty scores I, the first day player, was getting.


Sometime during early 2005 I experimented with different names in NEM, but Undead stuck. I even made avatar and sig for it so it was bit different from my usual aliases. It really stuck to me 2 years later when I steadily used this name for several years in REN clan, many of the new players never knew I had another name to begin with.
I got my nickname from the movie we all have seen: The Mummy. There is a line there where the Mummy himself is referred to as "The Holy Undead". Since at that time my life was greatly influenced by dark industrial and metal concepts it fit for me personally, as well.

Now I will be known as Hurusoma for a while. New name for new clan. Hurusoma is Japanese black metal band, thats where the name comes from.
