Serious question

Ok here's the deal, getting a new gfx card soon. After some searching, found out that the most this pc can support is the geforce 7200 GT, though there's some concern over whether or not the psu would need replaced (it's a 250W). Since my dad doesn't want to fork out for a new psu as well (it's part of a bday thing), I've been looking at other lower end cards. Technophobe that I am (haha), I've no idea what's good and what isn't. So I ask you guys: Which of these would be the best buy w/o having to replace the psu? I currently have a 5200FX. (See pics for cards between mine and the 7200.) Much thanks.

All of these are total metabolic end product tbh. You will need a new PSU anyway, the last time I had 250W I was using a GeForce 4 card. San Andreas I could play on low graphics 640*480.
You don't need a kickass PSU, proper ones can be bought for 20-50 euros.

How much would you pay for the new gfx?

If you couldn't get a better gfx card because of technical limitations of you main board then I'd understand it.. but I wouldn't make that dependent of the power supply... you would just be mad afterward..

That PSU will be a pain in the ass. Try find a cheap deal somewhere, some 500w ones arent at all costly. Doesnt the card state what psu it requires?

Minor correction: Most this pc can support is the 76, not the 72. My bad.

Since it's my dad paying, he doesn't want to spend 100+ quid. I won't know what power any card would require until I get it. Basically, all I want to know is: which of these cards can I adequately run without having to upgrade the psu? Though I don't think getting a new psu is a problem for him necessarily, it's just cost he's worried about. I should think any total under

In my opinion it was constructive. Instead of constantly leaching off your parents you should go out and get a job. You're in the UK so you'll be earning roughly
