The [FGS] Clan

Today I stayed home because I'm ill and I had the chance to see John McTiernan's Predator movie, you know, the one with the Governor in it.
The movie was made in 1987 and it was pretty amazing. I also have the second episode, I haven't decided if I want to see it because I didn't hear much good about it.

This summer a sequel to this movie is being released, produced by Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Planet Terror, Desperado).
There are two reasons I'm really looking forward to this one;
- Predator 1 was great
- The new movie Predators is directed by a very talented hungarian film director called Nimr

Yeah the original was a good film, I even like the Alien vs. Predator film (a guilty pleasure), will definitely look out for this one.

AVP1 was good, the second was very dark and the script was lame.

I liked predator 2 more than the first one but solely because of the atmosphere. While P2 got some things right I cant really disagree with the lame script comment. P1, of course, is a classic.

Personally I wouldnt consider either movies like good good, but hopefully Predators will introduce a script that does not look like Govenator wrote it

The laser thats goes to his head is real, so why do they have to use computer generated crap for the others, it looks shoddy.

/rant on modern films using too much CGI to cut corners which are, in most cases, not necessary.

I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out.... Maybe lasers are expnesive?

I don't think it's expensive for the budget of a movie like this, on the other hand however, I don't think it's a problem either :/

Movie premiere tomorrow in UK and several other countries. If you go to see the movie in theatre can you please sum it up without spoilers? I'd be grateful since Intercom(Hungary) put the premiere date to 19th of August in Hungary -.-
