The [FGS] Clan

When I started playing 5 years ago on Godz I had 300-1000 ping and about 11 fps.
I just installed dx on the new pc and I have 40-70 fps on default settings and 16 ping on gaming deluxe...
I think this deserves a whole new topic
With flatmate's Razer 3500 it's a whole new experience as well, the gun aims where i point it

40-70 is still metabolic end product though, you wont be able to give your maximum and on iceworld itll drop a lot lower at some points. still somewhat better though. i had the same stats when i started.

I have worse ping but similar FPS and I don't know what to do about it :/

I hate iceworld for that. It's such a simply map, but it still gobbles up my frames. D:
16 ping is impressive though. It's the best I've ever heard of on DX.

I recall getting something like 36 ping once

in my own *loving* server.

My ping's gone up since I started playing, as has my fps since I moved from my dad's shitty laptop to this machine after it got to this house (eventually).

When I started:

Ping: 30-50
Fps: Around 40-50

Now:

Ping: 50-70
Fps: Permanently capped at 60 fps (for some reason)

When i startet with DXMP, it was like 90-150 Ping and 15-30 FPS on Godz Servers.
Now its 100 FPS+ every time and 40-60 Ping ore i dont enter the Server. Most times FGS and RTKM with such a low Ping

Like Tidus I cap my FPS to 100. My Ping is about ~60 maybe 80.
When I started I dunno how many FPS I had. My ping was about 150-200.

Oh and Shadow ... From what I know you should check your Player Setup. Maybe you set the netspeed too slow. I had this once too and had a terrible FPS (~40).

Nope.

I didn't know how to check fps/ping when i started the game.
