ok so my prior argument was mostly a gheigh rant at suicide gepping and how most 0 auggers use rifles all the time.

so here's my better argument, which i urge you to discuss the subject matter and hopefully crack down upon.

- spectating before dying

- teamkilling ( this goes for admins of other clan servers )

- EXCESSIVE suiciding

- spamming abuse


if more of you dudes could be present in 0 aug fgs, it would be awesome, you should know who the dude is by now who keeps going spec before he can be killed. It is far more worse than persistent suiciding.

If I see anything weird or not right with players when on his server I'm usually the first to inform him (if online), player name, date and time so the IP of the donut being a spanner is logged as being a complete Scooby Doo. The spanner will be chucked in the box of IP'S with the rest of the lug nut's

I saw someone using spec as you describe, seemed to be a skilled player, but I've seen spec abuse with miniMTL as well, people using chatboxes to give away teams etc. Like entering base 27 in DXSG, the noobs always find a way to beat it.

5 SEC DELAY WITH SPEC. AND YOUR SCORE RESETS.

Delay could be added, score resets already.

sounds good. I would say suicide on altfire isn't applicable, most ppl killing themselves accidentally anyway.
Teamkilling, well you can't, but spam is always an issue and has got worse over the years.
Seems also lately to be people who spend a lot of time pretending to be another character that is stupid or hostile, usually when server is not busy.

There just needs to be more rules for the FGS servers..

if the person breaks a rule once give them 1 warning.

2nd offence, last warning.

3rd offence, a kick.

4th offence, tell player if they do it again they will be banned.

5th offence,a ban.

hell nah man. i think that's way too soft.

warn them the first two times if they're a random noob, kick on the third.

but if you can tell they guy is one of these guys who always does it intentionally - just ban them straight away.
if they want to be unbanned then they know what to do.

Banning people straight away might be a good approach in a community of thousands or maybe even hundreds, DX community is too small to be so strict

well yea, that's fair enough for random players, but for the dudes we all know for sure are being homosexual - they need to be talibanned on the spot, we know what they do.

That seems like a good idea.

Apart of the fact that I agree about a lack of administration on altfire.. I can't make up a relation between homosexuality and notorious annoying players.
