The only great Metallica song I know is 'One' and I've heard plenty of Metallica. They're all right, just not excellent.
For good hard rock, I recommend Guns N' Roses. They were leet.

Where the hell have of you been these last 20 years? :shock: Have you even heard them live? Dude, seriously, get your hands on S&M, you haven't listened to Metallica until you've heard 'em live.

It's like comparing apples to oranges, both bands kick serious ass, luckily for me my taste in music is so broad that I love both bands, GnR a little more though.

and ya I like them both although Metallica more than GnR. and thats just because I like Metal and id really prefer Lamb of God or Killswitch Engage

I downloaded their complete collection, and I must say I didn't like a single song, which is quite uncommon for me.
