I've always wanted to, but never had the chance.....
Anyway, making a map (well, 1/2 a map), nicked some movers from an SP map, and found out I could add sounds to 'em. Here, you can take a look, it's in attachment. Anyway, the closing sound won't stop playing once doors are shut. Any thoughts? Or am I gonna have to remove the sound?

Okay, I've finally managed to create my own textured mover (yay!), but there is one teensy problem with it. Download the file (obviously), summon yourself a few lockpicks, and get picking. See? What the hell's goin' on there? It's closed, not friggin' open! Any thoughts?

Oh, if you want the code to the pad, all you mappers know where to look. :-P

Aaaahhh! I'll try that.... IT WORKED!!! THANK YOU CHINNY!!!!chin.democ. wrote:I'm having my own fair share of mover headaches right now, managed to get two of my four mini elevators working, just those other two to go, movers can be a real pain in the backside and can consume hours of your life.
That guide on Factory by Magus is indeed a great one, however he doesn't explain how to set keypoints.
My way of doing it is to simply move the purple mover brush (say an elevator for this example) to it's ground floor position, then simply right click your purple mover brush and highlight "Mover Keyframe" then scroll (right) and click on keyframe 1, now simply move the purple mover brush to it's 1st floor position and your done (assuming your elevator has only two floors).
Now if you want your elevator to begin at the first floor position when you play your map (which makes sense), simply right click the purple elevator brush and highlight "Mover Keyframe" then scroll (right) and click on keyframe 0, it will return to it's starting position on the ground floor.
