This is gonna be too easy. Incase you haven't guessed by now, I'm an aug veteran, and have repped' for some very prestigious atdm clans. However, the queen of Altfire might just own me in atdm, who knows...

Technically speaking, [E] is a clan founded by an [FGS] member and was crewed by many [FGS] members until their recruiting programme succeeded.
Therefore not surprising it doesn't flame, hack, insult, meddle...

But I never liked ATDM, maybe I did not play it enough to catch the ATDM bug, or maybe it's because skilled ATDM players, like yourself, never give newbies the chance to learn it and get better at it.

Don't *loving* say you aren't getting enough chance to learn it. How do you think we learned it? If you actually want to learn ATDM and say it out loud, you will have every ATDM guy giving you help.

I've asked Sike for help once (I was aliased, call me noob whatever). All he said was, go look at some demos noob...

EDIT/ now I come to think about it, some atdm players actually did offer me help. I remember a game with scarface and OD (I think). They gave me tips. Other than that, no one did.

EDIT II/ well how 'bout a training session Set a date, announce it over the forums, get a server (maybe FGS is willing to give theirs), and teach us noobs how to play ATDM.

EDIT III/ maybe that way ATDM would thrive again.

EDIT IV/ and maybe skilled ATDM clans like and [HK] could open up spots for trainees... (instead of turning them down for 'being not skilled enough')

Good point. Oh btw, I was being a loudmouth. I can't say as I've ever seen Proph outside of Wunderland.

Aug games are so f*cking unbalanced anyway, I'm not surprised no-one plays them. What the hell was Ion thinking when they decided to put augs in a games' MP? Or was they high? You get one person who makes a lucky kill, or has a slight advantage in ping (maybe a little more skill, who knows?), and then they can disappear off everyone's radar and run riot through the map. Doesn't help of course, that Ion somehow messed up the Aug selection system in the menu....

I don't like aug games. Full stop. (You think I'm falling in that trap Spaz?) I've only had 1, yes, 1!, good aug game since joining DXMP. And that was ruined by that PRATIKPARMAR arse-head. Oh well, back to AltFire for me.....

but of those games, I most likely get a good game on AG or Intermediate.

I prefer the servers which mix all types all players. That's why I enjoyed intermediate server so much, someone worse than me, someone better than me. And AG sometimes makes you think about weps and augs.
