to me the way forwards is not btdm or atdm...but custom servers like SG, AG, Deja Vu's Beginners and Intermediate Servers with max skills and atdm augs or having skills and 4 augs at start, like Factory server.

These servers are the ones proven to attract vets, noobs and those in between into a large battle situation and busy 16 slot server without a problem...at the moment atdm is played by a minority, btdm does not bring all together. ctdm ftw... beginners have max skills, intermediate have skills choosing, and beginners have 4 augs start, intermediate have 2/3...if the server is good, maps are good and admins are good this is proven to work best...

if you really want ppl to atdm then make RPG servers with atdm settings...
