Well there's major buggery on the server atm. Getting real spazzy movement, it's making the game unplayable. What happens is, when you try to move, it "sticks", juddering backwards and forwards, before leaping forward. Restart maybe?

The actual movement is slower, even I noticed that and I rarely dabble in the realms of altfire.

That was just Nobody messing with the server, it's not always like that. In fact, it'd be safe to say, it almost never is.

The movement bug is not deliberate, it comes and goes, server needs restarting that is all...

That movement bug is pissing me off too.
I don't know why this occurs.
Neither, I know a determined way to solve it.
Not even "any" restart solves it.
To "fix" it temporarily, I always need to try different things, like..

..closing the server and the auto restarter.
..killing the server process when servertravelling.
..quitting the remote screen so the server restarts without remote screen activated.

Are you using Zora's new Nephtys? If so, I'd show him the logs etc, maybe it's just a bug that he could solve.

I can shed light on this bug...

it's nothing to do with Nepthys, this bug is as old as 2007 or earlier...

and it only happens on FGS Germany. Roi and Icho have been dealing with it for a long time. So I conclude it's a peculiarity of the hoster, same as w00der's servers have some bugs/issues which only seem to occur on his servers.

Pffft, I wish. If I had a penny for every time there's been an admin needed, and there hasn't been one....

Anyway, to answer your unvoiced question, there were two admins, neither of them me. There was Tidus, and Nobody.

Sometimes, I really wish I had admin tho......
