Two questions

1. I got an annoying bug. I press "Play level" while mapping and after some seconds of playing the game gets stuck and I have to click the DX icon on my windows toolbar to return to the game. But even when I do this, after some seconds it does it again. As if it would be receiving a command to go back to the desktop when I played some seconds... How do I stop this?
2. How do I make classes respawn? E.g I shoot a TNT or a chair and I want them to respawn like LAM's and Medkits do.

Make sure you rebuild geometry before you play the level.

And there's a special mod that lets TNT crates etc respawn. It normally comes attached to Smuggler2052 or w/e it's called.

Hmm could this be related to a glide.dll file fault? I'm sure nobody will give you a good answer so you better give up altogether.

I always rebuild before saving a map or pressing "play level".

Hail Nobody! Our saviour! I get something similar, I play level and it goes back to desktop. Does it once, maybe twice, then stops. Just something you have to learn to live with I guess....

But I don't want to and I don't have to live with it as only a very little number of people suffer from this problem (so far you and me as I know) and I guess it can be fixed once it's not an every-day SDK bug. It's annoying and pissing me off after a while.

are u guys playing fullscreen? Try playing in a window or adding the map to the maplist and hosting a LAN game.

Hosting a server for my map that is being made wouldn't solve my problem. It would be an alternative, slower way. And I don't want that unless I don't have a choice

Holding my TAB button shows multiplayer scores. I haven't changed that function for years.
My ALT button is set to strafe.

I don't know what these buttons have to do with my problem but any help is appreciated.

Duno why but maybe my post got deleted, or i quit it before posting..

Anyways what i was saying was..

Maybe your ALT key is stucked and jammed, and keep getting pressed, when you press TAB it goes like minimize..

I'll ask one more question,

Like all other DX players,

Do you have a habit to press Score button everytime? lol

I press score alot in all the games I play. I have it remapped from TAB to ALT and I bind ping/winstats, stat net, stat fps, and playerlist to ALT.

Why? It gets all the useless commands out of the way of otherwise usable buttons for more important commands such as scope, buyskills, and activatebelt 9
