Lol! Fat32 is shite. You can't make files bigger than 4Gb on it, that much I do know. NTFS = no limits.

You do have limits.
I wouldn't ever make the system partition NTFS (if i have the choice).
Reason is.. if your OS goes boom, you can still back up the data from the system partition with a common non-windows system.

or use a bootable Partition Magic ;)
it also depends, I'm able to easily read data from my NTFS partition under ubuntu, which uses ext3.

you upgrade a computer by buying new hardware opening up your computer and find something that looks similar to what you bought and replace it.

and make sure you talk to the guy at the store about what kind of hardware to get because if your computer is really old you may have to upgrade other things first before newer hardware is compatible.

here is a list of things that are easy to keep updated

-RAM (Random access memory- it is used any time your computer is on and the more you have the more you can multi-task

-hard drive - this you only need to add on to the one you already have... my advice is to just get an external hard drive for storage

-power supply - the more hardware you have you need to make sure your power supply can handle the energy that your computer needs to run

-graphics card - all I have to say about this is make sure your board and the graphics card has the same interface (my motherboard only has PCI slots and newer graphics cards use PCIE so make sure they are compatible.)

-sound card - same applies

other hardware like the motherboard and processor is usually changed together and requires a little preparation before you do it so that your Operating system is ready to change its settings for the new motherboard.

there you go upgrading your PC for dummies, in noob speak and everything :-D
