Since you wouldn't understand if I would've said "Moved to our trash". But that is what we do. Everything we 'delete' is being moved to somewhere you can't see.

right just read whole topic cant help but saying WHAT THE *love* IS is going on here shadow its your choice but i really can't believe you,ve given up like that sorry if this offends you but im not trying to give u hassle but you tried and tried and tried to keep dx alive and you came through and youve given up and i know what its like i had school phobia was close to giving up treating it many times but i got through and you are a dead strong person and thiss is why im pissed off with the people who pushed you back and not forwards again and again you are a valued member of FGS im not trying to sound like a leader or of a false rank in FGS but more than that you are one of my valued freinds if you choose to leave FGS i wont be happy about it but its fine by me like i said your choice jon, magus you decided to threaten people in the dx community now that is nothing but sick bullying many metabolic end product now i relise i dont play much and im gonna get tons of metabolic end product for posting this now but whats happening now is *loving* why i dont play alex regarding last post shadow has 'gottcha' if you cant see the post there as good as deleted shadow again dont want you to leave but ur choice

I wouldn't get into a fight on my account, I'm not worth it...

Besides Jon gives me more mapping advice than anyone...and while Alex bitches something chronic, he is not wrong to say that I have...

yes, I have a bone to pick lol... how to align to grid... any takers? Mappers seem to differ on how it is done? Can anyone explain how to align to grid?

And Sanctuary, Vandenberg_TheDayAfter... much smaller...it's about half-finished...

Only use 16, 8 and 4 grid units. I've learned that's the easiest way to map, learned from smookie

OK I'm just gonna post double and say this. I thought this whole affair was over, so I don't see the reason for further argument. In fact, Jon and I were discussing changing the server name from FGS to DXMS. So now I'm banished? ok...I won't assume that's because I only agreed to add banners and rename maps to DXMS.

DXMS is the definitive source for mapping help in the DX community, no doubt about it. But what is not entirely clear and should be clearer is this. All you have to do is make a map (every pack?) for dxms to retain membership. But what is not clear, is that really u wish members to map 0-augs for the dxms server, the map needs to be 0-aug and compatible with your server weps and settings etc. That's fine, but it's not clear. Also dxms should consider the fact that if u reject a map for your packs or server, then where else could it be hosted? I think it would be better for dxms and their members alike to concentrate on making normal DXMP maps, with normal full weps, so the map/mapper gets maximum exposure, regardless of whether it goes on dxms or not, letting the individual server masters remove what they wish to remove. I know you are concentrating now on augged maps too, that's good, but it's a shame that some of your great 0-aug maps will only ever get hosted on 2-3 0-aug servers it seems. That way a mapper's career is not down to individual taste of Jon, or server settings, or rejection from a map pack, but rather how many servers that the dxms map got hosted on etc... cos it was a nightmare to make several maps for the dxms map pack/server but then discover that none of them were going to make it on to the server, but in fact a new brief for augged maps/server now existed... I'm sorry but I can't wait literally all year to be approved and hear what players other than Jon think, considering that you still release and host some of your early maps...

Bear in mind also, mapping for the Altfire server is entirely different too. Rifles need to be at 90% to normal, pick-ups and ammo are different etc, low grav means every inch of the map needs proper texturing and detail etc, bodies explode etc...

I'm happy to contribute some/all the maps, but not at this point to be banished from dxms, while I happened to be renaming my server to dxms.

Constant insult, being 2-faced over different forums towards me and DXMS to name but a few reasons; I can't be arsed with you anymore Shadow - you have no say over what should and shouldn't be done in and around the DXMS.

But you're right on one thing; this whole affair is over.
