Hi guys;
Given the rather lukewarm response to the Mapping Challenge I've decided to jump in myself with a small quick map.
Obviously this disqualifies me from being a judge in the contest so there is a need to lay down who (in FGS) will be the judges.

I suggested myself to judge originally but the contest was posted without any mention of who would judge.
I plan to enter so am obviously out of the running for the former.

I wont be entering the comp as to much mapping to do as it is.
I will judge if all is ok with that? If Chinny Shadow are not in this they will be good to judge on this comp as well.

I can judge or compete.
I think it took us two weeks last time, to look at every map twice, play them together, debate them and agree on scores.
EDIT: The reason for competition inactivity on my part is that I am scouring Bristol for a location that is...
1. Fantastic to look at / original.
2. Playable.
3. Haven't photographed the textures yet.

It's out of my hands now, for obvious reasons, but I suggest giving everyone 2-3 months.

I assume because Whiplash is entering and therefore not a judge?
September 31 sounds good to me :P
You're still the "sponsor" of the competition, you still have clout.Whiplash wrote:Obviously this disqualifies me from being a judge in the contest so there is a need to lay down who (in FGS) will be the judges.
